Eurus Energy Europe B.V. (“Eurus”) is proud to announce the start of construction of the Deil Battery Energy Storage System (BESS).
The Deil BESS will be a 15 MW / 40 MWh grid-connected battery system located in the municipality of West-Betuwe, The Netherlands. It is built near the substation of Eurus’ Windpark Deil, situated along the A15 highway at the ‘Deil’ junction. The Deil BESS is designed to provide grid stabilization services and reduce congestion.
Electrical and civil works will be caried out by construction companies Van den Heuvel Aannemingsbedrijf B.V. and GMB Civiel B.V. respectively. The battery system is to be supplied by Gotion High-tech Co., Ltd via Eurus’ sister company, Toyota Tsusho Europe SA, with system integration to be carried out by TRICERA energy GmbH. Eurus is supported throughout the construction phase of the project by Emmett Green B.V..
